Our story
Silk Strings is a unique, Adelaide-based Huqin (Chinese Fiddle) trio comprising of David Dai, Felix Wang, and Lester Wong, under the artistic direction of Professor Tsan-Huang Tsai. They aim to delve into the origins of Huqin music, preserving and passing down its traditions while also seeking innovative transformations. They hope to make Huqin music more accessible, understood, and appreciated by a broader Australian audience, fostering a new appreciation for this rich musical heritage.
